Mother Jeans is a new jeans line created by Lela Tillem, who before worked for Citizens of Humanity, and Tim Kaeding, who used to work for 7 for all Mankind.
Mother Jeans are made from really soft denim with a "worn in" feel to it, and the initial statement look of the brand for first collection was flared and wide legged styles.
However, this season's collection has more of an emphasis on skinny and boot cut styles.
Highlights of this season's collection include "The Looker" low rise skinny jeans, which are available in many different washes of denim and also brightly coloured corduroy. They are made from stretch denim - or corduroy - and have the characteristic "M" embroidered on the back pockets. "The Looker" is available in standard leg and an ankle crop style.
Also check out the Mother Runaway Bootcut Jeans, a flattering staple style with whiskering. They have a cute touch, with the message; "Mother always liked you best" on the button at the front.
This season's flared style is called "The Curfew", a pair of dark blue jeans made from stretch denim with a modern take on the current retro 1970s trend that's sweeping across the catwalks and fashion houses. Another seventies inspired style is "The Drama" wide leg jeans, which are high waisted jeans in a washed out, distressed denim with faux pockets.
Celebrity fans include supermodel Lindsay Wixon, Demi Moore, Lindsay Logan, Kim Kardashian and Eva Longoria.
