J Brand designer jeans are a collaboration between denim manufacturer Jeff Rudes and Susie Crippen, an American celebrity stylist. J Brand jeans are classically cut, with the emphasis on a good fit for a sophisticated, timeless look. They have an understated appearance, lacking the crystals and studs that embellish other designer brands. The jeans are stylish and sexy without being overtly "fashionable" - they are well finished off and are available in simple dark washes. They are designed to make a woman feel beautiful and draw attention to her - not the jeans.

J Brand jeans launched in 2005 in just one store - Ron Herman's Melrose jeans bar in the US. They were an immediate success and in 2006 J Brand introduced a line of men's jeans which are sold at luxury retailers in the US and worldwide.

Celebrities seen wearing J Brand include Miley Cyrus (left, wearing style 014 ankle cleavage), Katie Holmes, Liv Tyler, Kate Moss, Cameron Diaz and Eva Longoria. They are also regularly featured in the top fashion magazines such as Vogue.

The jeans cost around £160 - £200 in the UK depending upon the cut.
