Denham jeans is a Dutch brand of jeans which was founded by its name sake, Jason Denham, in 2009. And I thought the brand was called "Denham" as a pun on "Denim"!
The mantra of the brand is to "worship tradition, destroy convention".
Denham Jeans are made from a variety of quality and raw denims, or "virgin denim", as Jason Denham calls it.
Jason Denham had twenty years of experience in the denim industry before founding Denham jeans, and now Amsterdam appears on the international denim scene. In fact, in Amsterdam, the new Denham flagship store showcases the latest Denham collection with everything from skinny fits, straight legs and regular leg fits for men and women. In addition, those interested in delving a little deeper will find videos on how the Denham jeans are made, and an exhibition of vintage jeans from Jason's private collection.
If you've always fancied having your own custom made jeans, take a trip to the Blue Salad Bar. There, you can select the metal and leather trim of your choice, fill in your details, and your custom made jeans will be ready in a week.
In October 2010, Denham opened their flagship store in London. They now have a four storey UK headquarters including a showroom, situated in Shoreditch. If you live in London, go and visit the store. The address is 32 Charlotte Road, London, EC2A 3PB.
Jason Denham says that vintage jeans are popular right now. The way that Denham interprete the trend is to be inspired by jeans from the archives, but destroy convention by reinterpreting the styles to bring them up to date for the current market.
